outfit ideas for park adventures
Going to some sort of amusement or themed park this summer can be so much fun!  However, there is some planning that goes into it and of course that means planning what you're going to wear.  I started the Park Adventure Series here on my page I decided to give you some outfit ideas if you're heading to a fun park this summer!

Before you go shopping there are some important things you need to check out.  First, is the weather. You should know what the day is going to bring you sunshine or rain.  That can help you decide what you should be wearing that day.  The next thing to remember is to think comfy.  You're going to be walking around all day so wear comfortable shoes.  Lay off on the jewelry.  You don't need to wear a ton of it because if you get on a roller coaster or water ride it would suck if an earring or bracelet fell off.  Lastly, wear stuff that you don't mind getting ruined.  Shoes will get scuffed, clothes will get wet or sweaty.  Don't bring your Michael Kors purse to carry everything around in.  You can still be fashionable without wearing your Jimmy Choos to the park.

The shoes are the most important part.  Don't wear anything that's going to make your feet hurt at the end of the day.  Stick to sneakers like Nike's or Converse.  Something that can go with your outfits but still be reliable at the end of the long day.  Also make sure to wear comfortable socks but not too thick because if it's hot you don't want your feet to be sweaty and gross.  If it's summer time then you'll be wearing shorts but make sure they are comfy.  Again, you'll be walking around in them all day and if you get on a water ride they're going to get wet.  Don't wear anything that you'll have keep pulling up or pulling down.  Wear something that fits you just right.  Same goes for the shirt.  If it's hot out don't wear a heavy cotton t-shirt.  Instead, wear a tank top or something flowy.  Top off the outfit with a hat.  It's going to be hot and you want to protect yourself from the sun and sweat.  It's also important to keep a cover up with you for water rides or if it rains.  Something like a rain jacket or a flannel.  Throw it on so you don't ruin your outfit.
